The Belatra Games and G&M News survey exploring the hobbies of iGaming professionals is entering its final two days. The study will remain open until August 12, and organizers have already received a strong response from industry professionals across different roles and markets.
The responses collected so far are showing just how diverse the interests of people working in iGaming can be. Alongside familiar hobbies such as tennis, football, video games and dancing, participants are also sharing interests that are far less obvious and would not necessarily come to mind when thinking about how iGaming professionals spend their free time.
"Some people collect things you’d never guess, while others practice a rather unusual type of martial art. We’re also getting some funny answers and are even considering sharing a few of them separately. Many thanks to everyone who took 5 minutes and talked about their hobby for our research with G&M News. We truly appreciate every response," says Marina Shafran, PR Manager at Belatra Games.
The survey aims to identify the most popular hobbies among iGaming professionals, highlight unusual interests within the industry and explore activities people would like to try in the future. The findings could also provide insight into how companies approach networking, event concepts, partner experiences and corporate gifting.
The final report is scheduled for publication on August 30 and will reveal which hobbies dominate the industry — and which unexpected passions make the list.
